How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses a series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners to guide your teeth into their straightened positions. Each set of aligners is worn for about two weeks. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move — little by little, week by week — until they have straightened to the final position Dr. D’Ascoli has prescribed.

Unlike traditional braces, which require you to visit our office once a month for an adjustment, you’ll only need to visit our office once every eight to ten weeks to allow Dr. D’Ascoli to monitor your progress. On average, treatment time with Invisalign is about the same as standard braces: anywhere from 12 to 20 months, depending on your unique smile needs.
